• Consent — we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Our lawful basis for collecting or using personal information for dealing with queries, complaints or claims is:

• Legitimate interests — when someone contacts us with a question, a complaint or a request about our service, we need to keep their name, contact details and the messages between us so we can respond properly, follow up if needed, and keep a record of what was discussed. This benefits the person contacting us, because it means we can answer them and refer back to what they told us, and it benefits us because we can resolve issues and improve the service. The impact on people is minimal, as the information is only what they have chosen to send us, it is not used for any other purpose, and it is not shared with anyone else other than the service providers who host our email and website on our behalf. We do not keep it for longer than we need to, and people can ask us to delete their information at any time. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability.
